  • Founded in 2012 by our Managing Director Jim Boyes, Fineline have grown to become a trustworthy architectural services provider that gets the job done.

  • We create beautiful, fit-for-purpose designs drawn from our experience, expertise and overall attention to detail.

  • We use industry leading software, hardware and technology allowing our customers to visualise their dreams in more than just a 2D/3D drawing.

  • We put our customers first, which often leads to great feedback, repeat clients and recommendations.

  • We’re “FAD” - a future thinking multi-disciplinary consultancy practice fanatical about design quality, founded on down to earth principles.

  • We’re a rapidly expanding family run architectural service provider consisting of highly experienced Architects, Architectural Technologists, Principal Designers, Surveyors, Retrofit Experts, BIM Users, Drone Enthusiasts and 3D Designers.

Where we are :

  • We’re based in our new premises on the periphery of the famous model village of Saltaire.

  • The village is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with an incredible history linked to it’s founder the manufacturer, politician and philanthropist Sir Titus Salt, after which our building is named, “Salt’s Wharf” which overlooks the Leeds Liverpool Canal and the magnificent Italianate architecture of Salt’s Mill itself which houses the 1853 Gallery featuring works by local artist David Hockney.

    Jim Boyes

    MANAGING DIRECTOR

    Jim founded Fineline back in 2012 after gaining many years experience in architectural practices and large scale construction firms.

    His continued enthusiasm for outstanding design and detail, and down to earth approach is respected by colleagues and clients alike.
